Suite Showcase #11 - Inked Botanicals

Hello and welcome to my latest blog post,

For this Suite Showcase we have selected the Inked Botanicals Suite which is a stamp set with two punches.  I loved using the punches as they are really quick and easy to use.

For the first card I was really punch happy creating the background for the card, I couldnt resist a bit of heat embossing and fussy cutting.

On this second card I used to lines stamp to create a kind of burlap background before stamping the stems and attaching the flower heads on mini dimesionals.

With the third card i used loads of strips of dsp (1.4cm x 10cm) and layer them up before puching an aperture out for the greeting.  Again, I used heat embossed flowers and fussy cut them out.

This suite is so versatile and offers so many opportunities for projects as there are vaious patterns to choose from on the 6" x 6" designer series papers.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

Suite Showcase #10 - Countryside Inn

Hello again,

Thank you for stopping by, as I type this blog it is a lovely sunny day and summer seems to be really on it is way, so let’s just hope it’s nice and long as I am not a fan of a cold and wet winter.

For this blog we chose to use Stampin’ Up!’s Countryside Inn Suite and what I truly loved about this suite is that the stamps and dies are not your typical style of dies, these stamps and dies are border stamps and dies and each shape has its own design so it will add extra dimension to your projects.

I could not wait to get crafting with this suite, I even used this in my Stamp-a-Stack class as soon as I received my order with it in, the ladies loved it.

We made these three cards in class:

I loved cutting out an aperture with one of the Border dies and attached the Country Bouquet embossed card on the inside of the card, then I decorated the front using a variety of Petal Park stamped and punched out flowers with the greetings from Sentimental Park as the finishing touch along with some beautiful embellishments.

With this card I wanted to show off the embossed Boho Blue card and incorporate some more punched out flowers with some white and gold heat embossed flowers too for extra detail.

On this card, the Designer Series Paper (DSP) is rather busy so I didn’t want to hide its beauty, so I added a gold frame and then even more flowers.  As you can see I got carried away making so many different flowers, but the fact that there is a punch for these made them so easy to make.

Whilst crafting for this Suite Showcase, I made some extra projects.  I love stationery and for ages I have wanted to start making Travellers Notebooks again, these gorgeous papers allowed me to start making them again.

As you can see, I have embossed the inside vellum sheet so it matched the Boho Blue front cardstock, then used even more flowers to give that little extra.  I have decided to create two more Travellers Notebooks and at some point, create a new co-ordinating cover too.

With the leftovers, it would be rude not to make a little 10cm x 10cm Thank You card  and a 10cm notebook as I really enjoy making these because they are fun to make.

I have you have enjoyed looking at what I made, I have listed the products used below for you to have a look at:

Again, thank you for spending the time looking at my blog, I truly do apprecaite it and I hope to see you again.

Suite Showcase #9 - Fresh as a Daisy

Happy May to you all,

As always, I am so happy to see you and welcome you to this months Suite Showcase where we are showing you what we have created using Stampin’ Up!’s Fresh as a Daisy Suite.

This is the first Suite Showcase from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and trust me when I say this, it is full of so many lovely products which are just great for all of your papercrafting projects.

In this suite there are so many beautiful colours including quite a few of the new colours from the Colour Refresh which started this month.

I really wanted to show you what I have created using just two pages of DSP, I fell in love instantly with one page of the paper and I knew it offered more than just a couple of cards. I started by cutting the paper into sections and then that allowed me to just get my craft on.

So far I have made a Card Case which holds five cards and envelopes.  I inserted a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) into a Stampin' Up! standard stamp case (#119105 p.151 Annual Catalogue) and then attached a piece of Copper Clay ribbon around the ouside.

Here are some more of the cards that I made...

I could not resist cutting around the flowers on two of the cards so they became 3D and all of the cards had the flowers coloured with Wink of Stella to give a little bit of sparkle.  One thing I am not very good at doing is decorating my envelopes, but for the first time  I actually remembered to do this, well almost, I forget to do two of them.

The colours in this suite are truly gorgeous and I am going to say that Copper Clay and Pebbled Path are now my two favourite colours.

Just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created so why not pop over to see what Joanna from Purrfectly Creative has made using thie Fresh as a Daisy Suite.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

Suite Showcase #8 - Enjoy the Adventure

Hello and welcome,

Just want to say thank you for popping by to look at the second Suite Showcase of April 2023, these truly do come around quick.

As an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator it has been a very busy and exciting month as we have so much exciting things happening - a colour refresh where there will be some current colours leaving, some old colours returning and some new colours.  We also got to preview and order from the new Annual Catalogue. I will be sharing more information on this over the next few weeks.

For this Suite Showcase we are showing you what we have made using the lovely Memories and More Cards that also have co-ordinating Cards and Envelopes too.  Both of these are reduced in price until the 1st May 2023 where they will disappear when the new Annual Catalogue will be released.

Here are both of the products that I used for this months Suite Showcase, I truly did enjoy using these and so far I have produced five cards.

I loved creating card one, it involved me cutting the flower and greeting from one of the small 3” x 4” cards and using a strip off another card to create a banner on top of a 4” x 6” card.

These were attached using several Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to give different heights.

Once I had completed this I glued the topper onto a Basic Black card blank and added a bit of bling with the very versatile Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

For card two, I wanted to show the lovely Memories and More card blank.

I chose to cut up another one of the small 3” x 4” cards and then placed it on another small card as this was perfect for the background, I inked around the edge of it before placing the greetings on top.

Once I had attached the topper to the base card, I added a little jewel as the finishing touch.

Making card three was so easy, as I used a card blank and I then cut up two 3” x 4” cards and used the dog and hearts that were leftover from card two.
I also added a sticker strip of hearts with Rhinestone Jewels to finish the card off.

You just never know when you will need 'Thinking of You' cards so I decided to make two cards using one of the small 3" x 4" cards and one of the 4" x 6" inch cards.

On card four (left), I just cut up the 3” x 4” card and used two of the flower stickers and added Rhinestone jewels to finish it off.

With card five (right), I cut the strip out of the middle of the card and attached the top and strip onto a Basic Black card blank, rotated the bottom of the card so the flowers side was showing.

Again, I finished off this card with a sticker and two Rhinestone Jewels.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

Suite Showcase #7 - Rain or Shine

Happy Easter to you all,

So hoppy to see you all as you join Joanna (Purrfectly Creative) and I for another Suite Showcase.  I hope you are as egg-cited as I am for the slowly improving weather as I must admit I'm a bit tired of being cold and need to feel some sun to defrost me.

You will never know how much I have been looking forward to using the Rain or Shine Suite from the Mini Catalogue since I saw it iback in November and I am super happy that this stamp set, dies and embossing folder will be carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue which will be out on 2nd May 2023.

For my first card I wanted to use the sheet of rain effect Designer Series Paper (DSP) to stamp directly onto it using Stampin' Markers to colour the flowers onto the stamp before stamping onto the paper.

Bonus of these dies is that they cut out some of the images on the DSP so they are great for making quick card making.

When you are a Nana to four girlie girls, it means you get to use lots of pinks, so I decided to make an Easter Card for one of them for the Suite Showcase.  As always, the Alphabet á la Mode dies were prefect for this card as it allowed a different way for making the greeting.

I chose to use another bunny for the Easter Bunny stamp set and with a bit of fussy cutting I had a little girlie bunny who just looks lovely with a little bow.  Easter with children would not be Easter without a few eggs and a carrot for the Easter Bunny.

Card three was fun to create as I got to make another shaker window.  This time I wanted to use the Easter Bunny stamp set and punch.  The Easter Bunny bundle is so cute, egg-actly what I needed to create a fun card, especially the carrots which were stamped onto Mango Melody and Old Olive cardstock and attached to each other.

Fair to say that I got a bit carried away when I was crafting and no surprise that I got a bit side-tracked too.  If you would like to see what I created then you will find it by clicking this link and it will take you to the Rain or Shine Scrapbook Page's post that went live first thing today.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:
