Colour Challenge for September's Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping by from Rochelle on this damp and windy day in the UK as you join the Ink.Stamp.Share Colour Challenge Blog Hop.  How exciting!  For this month's Blog Hop we had to choose a minimum of three colours and create projects using them.  I hardly ever use Melon Mambo so I thought it would be a great to use this colourway. 

 

 When I was designing these cards, I just couldn’t resist using the Sprig punch, this poor punch has well and truly been used (visit my blog on 1^st October to see why!)

Paper Pumpkin UK Style for Crafty Blogs Hop

Welcome, I am so pleased you are here for me to share what I have been crafting with you all.  As part of this month’s Crafty Blog Hop, we are sharing examples of ‘Hello Pumpkin’ Paper Pumpkin which is this month’s kit in the USA, so I will be showing you UK Style Paper Pumpkin.

 

Just love crafting for Halloween, I love the colours, the imagination that it bring.  Oh and the bright red toffee apples.

 So far this season I have only eaten two of them, but there is still time as after all and apple a day keeps the doctor away (maybe not the dentist though!)

The Banner Year Bundle (stamp set and punch) can be used in so many ways, it covers several occasions, from Halloween to Christmas to Valentines Day.  I love the versatility of the Banner Pick a Punch as I will be using it for scrapbooking too.

It is time to get my Birthday craft on!

Well this time of year is very busy for me, I have my eldest daughter’s birthday, my father’s birthday and then all three of my granddaughter’s birthdays oh and not forgetting my daughter’s partner’s birthday, so from the 14^th September to 14^th October I have seven very important people’s birthdays!!!

Previously, I created a scrapbook page of my eldest granddaughter dressed up as Hermione and as it is her birthday on the 25^th and I decided to create her a birthday card of the same theme.

 

I fell in love with how I created the scrapbook page – using a swirl from Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stars dies as a stencil with Cherry Cobbler and Bumblebee ink pads and sponge daubers to create the silhouette background on the Very Vanilla card topper.

Using a strip of Bumblebee cardstock on top of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and then used Stampin’ Up! Playful Alphabet dies to cut out the ‘Happy Birthday’ and number eleven using Stampin’ Up! Brushed Metallic cardstock.

Ink.Stamp.Share. August Blog Hop - Mini Catalogue

Hello and welcome to my Blog!

You may have started your blog hop journey here or have arrived from Cindy's Blog, however I know you will enjoy hopping from post to post as you get to see what other Stampin' Up! demonstrators have been creating using the new Stampin' Up! August to December mini catalogue for the Ink.Stamp.Share. August Blog Hop.

This week I had a rather large amount of photo’s arrive from Freeprints and it made me realise I had better start scrapbooking or I will never catch up if I keep ordering them and doing nothing with them. 

So, for this blog hop the theme was products from the new mini catalogue so I decided to use the gorgeous Gleaming Brightly Speciality Designer Series Paper.

When this paper was launched last year, I fell in love with it and I will confess that I stashed a few packets away, so you can imagine my joy when it returned this year!

Here is my is my scrapbook page that I created using Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper from the mini catalogue, I had forgotten that not all pages are Christmas related, so was happy, happy, happy to use this to scrapbook my eldest Granddaughter’s 7^th birthday photo’s that were taken in 2016.

Once I chose the paper, I decided  to use Stampin' Up! Poppy Moments Dies for some lovely 3D flowers.  I could have spent ages amking loads of these flowers as it was truly addictive and a great way to use up scraps of card and paper.

The flowers were quite a bold statement on the page! I loved them...

Spot the mistake! Yep, she was seven years old in this photo and I added NINE candles and the number nine! I knew she wasn’t nine four years ago as she will be eleven next month!  

Silly Nana ha ha!

Now I have made this page, I feel I need to start scrapbooking more pages so I can make a dent in the photographs that I keep getting printed and get my scrap on!

Gorgeous Posies by Stampin' Up! Crafty Blog Hop

 

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and welcome.

This is my first time participating in the Crafty Blog Hop and I eager to see what everyone else has crafted with this month’s theme - Gorgeous Posies Card Kit by Stampin’ Up! 

When I first saw this kit, I knew instantly that I just had to have it, I loved the choice of colours with Blackberry Bliss being one of my favourite colours, but I also love how well the colours all work together.

As soon as I buy a Stampin’ Up! kit I always create one of each design following the instructions, then I will change it up slightly for my version.  After that anything goes as this kit had four designs and sixteen cards in total so this left me with plenty of scope.

For today’s Crafty Blog hop I will be showing you four of my favourite cards that made using the products provided, it was great fun mixing them up. 

With each of these cards I changed how they were done from the instructions, I fussy cut, chopped the cards, raised them up using Stampin' Up! Mini Dimensionals and swapped greetings onto different die-cuts.

I was enjoying myself so much that I got carried away and made a total of twenty-four cards (I used additional Stampin’ Up! cardstock to create extra blanks) and I would have been more then happy to carry on creating as I still have elements of the kit left over.
