Suite Showcase #12 - Bright & Beautiful

Happy Summer Solstice everyone and welcome,

Today as this blog goes live (21st June 2023) the temperature where I live is going to be sunny with highs of 25 degrees, I am fortunate that I’m only a short car journey to the start of some gorgeous beaches.

Anyway, over to the latest Suite Showcase with Joanna (PurrfectlyCreative) and I where we were crafting with the gorgeous Bright and Beautiful suite by Stampin’ Up!

For this showcase I decided to use the Memories & More cards and the matching cards and envelopes as there were some cards that I truly loved.  I knew I needed to create birthday cards using these and they were ideal, I just incorporated both the Charming Sentiments and Color & Contour stamp sets and their co-ordinating die sets to add greetings and decoration.

Here are the colours that I used from the Bright & Beautiful suite:

For the first card I embossed a piece of Lost Lagoon card and die-cut the card before adding the heat embossed greeting.

I loved creating this second card and it was really easy to do, I just cut out the balloon image and attached to the card with the flowers.

The third card was my favourite one to  create, the balloon background allowed for the perfect birthday card and by using the candle dies it offered the finishing touches.

In total I made five cards, here are the other two:

It was lovely playing with these cards, as you can see in each photo I have stood the card I created on the original Memories & More cards that were used on my cards and you can see what I have done with each of them.  Once I had made these cards there was more than enough leftover for me to continue craft with. I plan to make more cards and even use them for scrapbooking.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

Scrapbooking using the letter 'C'

Seasons Greeting and welcome to my latest blog post,

You may have joined me from Heike or have started with my as you visit the Ink & Share  Blog Hop where you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world to see various projects that have been created Stampin' Up! product.  This hop is to show you what we are currently working on.

I chose to us the word CELEBRATE as my word beginning with the letter C in my double page spread. I knew instantly which photo's I was going to use.  Back in November, Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from across the globe got together online to find out the latest news form Stampin' Up!

There were several breaks in the agenda so my lovely Upline arranged for us to gather on Zoom.  It was truly a lovely three days.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Ink & Share blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Cindy is working on.

Oh what am I working on.....

Hello and welcome to my blog,

I just wanted to show you what I am working on at the moment, with so much new craft products about due to Stampin’ Up! having two current catalogues it made my decision quite hard.  However, it didn’t take me too long for me to make my mind up as I have wanted to play with this suite for quite a while – Stampin’ Up!’s Forever Greenery.

Every month I offer a scrapbooking kit (£15 collected, £20 posted) to my regular customers and these are my two pages using items from the kit, plus I have added the stamp set and dies into my work.

Before I started creating I decided that I would like to stamp and die-cut loads of different elements using the stamps and dies so I had them all ready to play with.

Here you will see a mixture of Forever Gold Laser-cut Speciality Paper which I literally just popped out to add with all of the stamped and die-cut images which I created stamping onto Whisper White card and by using Just Jade, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock and Soft Sea Foam ink colours.

I truly loved using the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper as they went so well with the photographs that I wanted to scrap, a recent family day out in Stamford, Norfolk.  I had so many photos to use and it was my intention to get as many on as I could.

These pictures are close-ups of two sections of the page so you get a better chance to see the detail.  I was really happy with how these pages turned out and it is my intention to carry on crafting with this suite.  I plan to make a mini album with more photographs in of this memorable day out with my daughters and granddaughters.
