Suite Showcase #10 - Countryside Inn

Hello again,

Thank you for stopping by, as I type this blog it is a lovely sunny day and summer seems to be really on it is way, so let’s just hope it’s nice and long as I am not a fan of a cold and wet winter.

For this blog we chose to use Stampin’ Up!’s Countryside Inn Suite and what I truly loved about this suite is that the stamps and dies are not your typical style of dies, these stamps and dies are border stamps and dies and each shape has its own design so it will add extra dimension to your projects.

I could not wait to get crafting with this suite, I even used this in my Stamp-a-Stack class as soon as I received my order with it in, the ladies loved it.

We made these three cards in class:

I loved cutting out an aperture with one of the Border dies and attached the Country Bouquet embossed card on the inside of the card, then I decorated the front using a variety of Petal Park stamped and punched out flowers with the greetings from Sentimental Park as the finishing touch along with some beautiful embellishments.

With this card I wanted to show off the embossed Boho Blue card and incorporate some more punched out flowers with some white and gold heat embossed flowers too for extra detail.

On this card, the Designer Series Paper (DSP) is rather busy so I didn’t want to hide its beauty, so I added a gold frame and then even more flowers.  As you can see I got carried away making so many different flowers, but the fact that there is a punch for these made them so easy to make.

Whilst crafting for this Suite Showcase, I made some extra projects.  I love stationery and for ages I have wanted to start making Travellers Notebooks again, these gorgeous papers allowed me to start making them again.

As you can see, I have embossed the inside vellum sheet so it matched the Boho Blue front cardstock, then used even more flowers to give that little extra.  I have decided to create two more Travellers Notebooks and at some point, create a new co-ordinating cover too.

With the leftovers, it would be rude not to make a little 10cm x 10cm Thank You card  and a 10cm notebook as I really enjoy making these because they are fun to make.

I have you have enjoyed looking at what I made, I have listed the products used below for you to have a look at:

Suite Showcase #9 - Fresh as a Daisy

Happy May to you all,

As always, I am so happy to see you and welcome you to this months Suite Showcase where we are showing you what we have created using Stampin’ Up!’s Fresh as a Daisy Suite.

This is the first Suite Showcase from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and trust me when I say this, it is full of so many lovely products which are just great for all of your papercrafting projects.

In this suite there are so many beautiful colours including quite a few of the new colours from the Colour Refresh which started this month.

I really wanted to show you what I have created using just two pages of DSP, I fell in love instantly with one page of the paper and I knew it offered more than just a couple of cards. I started by cutting the paper into sections and then that allowed me to just get my craft on.

So far I have made a Card Case which holds five cards and envelopes.  I inserted a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) into a Stampin' Up! standard stamp case (#119105 p.151 Annual Catalogue) and then attached a piece of Copper Clay ribbon around the ouside.

Here are some more of the cards that I made...

I could not resist cutting around the flowers on two of the cards so they became 3D and all of the cards had the flowers coloured with Wink of Stella to give a little bit of sparkle.  One thing I am not very good at doing is decorating my envelopes, but for the first time  I actually remembered to do this, well almost, I forget to do two of them.

The colours in this suite are truly gorgeous and I am going to say that Copper Clay and Pebbled Path are now my two favourite colours.

Just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created so why not pop over to see what Joanna from Purrfectly Creative has made using thie Fresh as a Daisy Suite.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:
