Share it Sunday

Hello Sunday,

Welcome to my blog as you join me directly or as part of the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop.  Today's post it to show you what projects Demonstrators from around the globe have been doing and what they are currently working on.

I love reading books, sadly I buy more books than I can possibly read but I am a crafter after all so I have plenty of experience in buying more than I need.  As part of the TV Book Club on Facebook, we do regular Secret Elf book exchanges and the latest one was for Easter.  I chose to make this card to send to mine using So Much Happy stamp set and turn the balllons into Easter Eggs by cutting off the nobble and colouring over it with a Chalk Marker. I loved how those cute eggs turned out.

Here are pictures of the complete Secret Elf parcel that I sent to Charlotte, in addition to two books was a box of chocolate goodies.

I had created the box after a crafting session with Jo Blackman where she showed us how to make a Two Tone Slider box.

I hope you have enjoyed popping by and thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with the blog hop and head on over to have a look at what everyone else is working on.

Just for him...

Welcome,

Thank you for joining me on the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop where you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world.

This month's theme was Male projects, so I created two greetings cards for Daddy Shark and Grandpa Shark.

For these cards I used the waves die and then coloured the waves using the blending brush with either Pool Party or Balmy Blue ink pads.  The waves were layered using mini dimensionals for the 3D effect.  The Sharks were stamped and die-cut out then attached to waves.

I loved making these cards and got very carried away using the Shark Frenzy stamp set and dies from the January to June Mini Catalogue.  In addition to these cards I made New Baby Shark, Mummy Shark and Grandma Shark cards.

Just wamt to say thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Crafty Collaborations blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Susan is working on.

Colour Inspiration Challenge

Hello,

Welcome to my latest blog post for the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop where you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world to see various projects that have been created using this picture for inspiration:
When I saw this picture I loved how it gave so many opportunities to use stamp sets that I have bought from the Annual Catalogue last year but not actually used as much as I would like to have.  With the new Annual Catalogue coming very soon (24th March for Demonstrators and 4th May for customers) I wanted to use the Very Versailles stamp set just in case it retires.

For this challenge I chose to create these two cards:

I wanted to add some silver embossing to the card to make the frame look more detailed and add a bit of metallic.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Crafty Collaborations blog hop and head on over to have a look at what everyone is working on.

Casually Crafting - Anything Goes

Hello,

Welcome to my first blog post for the Casually Crafting Design Team, I am so excited and pleased to be involved.

I hope you are enjoying your journey on this blog hop as you visit different Demonstrators to see the various projects that have been created to the new and casual crafter.

It was with great pleasure that I chose to use the Dandelion WIshes stamp set that I purchased forever ago and only got around to it for this hop, I just love how easy it was to use and create these cards with.  This card was aimed at the new crafter as it just involved stamping.

For the casual crafter I wanted to inroduce a punch which I punched two pieces of card (one Basic White and the other in Night of Navy which I cut in half and split) and mounted the greeting onto Dimensional foam pads.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your blog hop journey and head on over to have a look at what Melva is working on.

How egg-citing it's nearly Easter time!

Hello

Welcome to my latest blog post for the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop where you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world to see what we have all created for Easter.

Recently, I was creating twenty two childrens birthday cards using the Stampin' Up! So Much Happy stamp set and dies and whilst I was stamping and die-cutting balloons for the cards, I realised that they could easily be used as Easter eggs, Voila, that was when I came up with the idea of using this set for this this month's blog hop.

In addition to making this six-inch square Easter card, I wanted to make a little holder for a chocolate bunny, this little box was made using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to make the outer, again decorated with more eggs and the green of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper cut to make grass.

I am looking forward to creating more of these for my granddaughters and friends.  I just want to say thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Crafty Collaboration blog hop and head on over to have a look at what all the other lovely Demonstrators are working on.

Scrapbooking using a Mood Board

Hello and welcome,

Firtsly, I would like to thank you for taking the the time to visit my latest post. Today you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world to see various scrapbook projects that have been created using this gorgeous mood board...

When I saw this mood board I fell in love with it straightaway, I could have crafted about ten different pages using ideas from this. However, I chose to limit myself to just two.  The first page I created was this one...

These photo's were taken when my eldest daughter and three granddaughters came for a 'socially distanced' picnic in the garden after some of the rules of the first Lockdown were lifted, my youngest daughter had to stay in the conservatory as she was still in shileding but we managed to all enjoy the new 'normal!'

I truly enjoyed using the Hydrangea Hill Suite as it offered so much versatility and the colours and designs are just beautiful.  I loved how the Hydrangea flower die cut using the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and that the stem and leaves just matched up giving a 3D effect to my page.  I couldnt't resist die-cutting the DSP to make lots of little flowers to add little touches to the page.

The hearts around the photo's were created using ink refills dropped onto a wet wipe so it created a multicoloured ink pad.

Having got carried away, I just had to create a second page taht would co-ordinate and have a two page spread, so I was able to draw on inspirations from both the mood board and my first page above.

I stamped onto the background of the page using Rococo Rose ink and then added lots of die cut hearts and one large heart so I could add a bit of journalling.
As you can see I heat embossed using Silver embossing powder and the small hydrangea from the Hostess Stamp Set Suite Sampler in the January to June mini catalogue. Then with the Blending Brushes, Rococo Rose, Highland Heather and Old Olive ink pads I added colour to the hydrageas.

A huge thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Scrapbooking Global blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Cheryl is working on.

Time to say "Thank You!"

Hello and welcome,

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will enjoy your visit.  You will be joining me as part of the Demonstrator Training Programme Blog Hop where every month we share the Thank You cards that Demonstrators from around the world have created using Stampin’ Up! products.

For this month's cards I had been playing with the Hydragea Hill Designer Series Paper (DSP) and I wondered how many cards I could make after I had used it to create two scrapbook pages for another blog hop on the 18th of this month.

I love how beautiful the DSP is and how well it worked with the die-cuts to give lift and definition to the cards.

At present, I have completed five cards and there will be more to follow very shortly so watch this space.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post and I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Demonstrator Training Programme blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Julie is working on.

So I'm currently working on this!

Hello and welcome,

Just wanted to start by saying 'thank you' for joining me as part of the Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop where you will be visiting Demonstrators who are sharing what they are working on now.   You may have started with me or hopped here from Kim's page.

We are at this time of the year for Demonstrators when the excitement of viewing the new annual catalogue (as a Demonstrator you get to see this before customers) is less than two weeks away and you realise how much stuff you have bought and not used.  As a result I am creating cards using the Whale of a Time stamp set and punch that will be sold in my craft shop when I reopen next month.

I basically sat down with half a packed of Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper  (twenty four sheets) and created a shocking *THIRTY ONE* card bases and still had some pieces left over.

These were created with full sheets of DSP and co-ordinating cardstock which was embossed using the Seabed 3D embossing folder.  They are now all ready for me to decorate and make into complete cards over the next week or two.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have done so far, and please pop back to see the finished cards very soon.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Tricia is working on.
