Time for Share it Sunday

Hello

Welcome to my latest blog post,

I am so exciting that you are joining me directly or as part of the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop as you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world to see various projects that we are all working on.

It gave me great excitement to use Stampin' Up! Shark Frenzy stamp set and dies.  When I saw this set in the new January to June mini catalogue I couldn't wait to have a crafting session with this.

I got so carried away making cards with this set that I made Mummy Shark, Daddy Shark, Grandpa Shark and Grandma Shark.  Then I felt it only right to make Baby Shark cards for newborn babies.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Crafty Collaborations blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Laura is working on.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

The month of love!

Welcome to my latest blog post,

Thank you for stopping by from Doreen as part of the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop, I hope you are enjoying your hopping journey and seeing everyones scrapbook pages.

I have fallen in love with the True Love designer series paper by Stampin' Up!  The black and white paper is so beautiful and offers so much versatility as you can colour it in so many ways or even just use it as it is and show off it's true beauty.

When I was creating this page I knew how I wanted it to look, and was really pleased when i remembered to use Very Versaille stamp set for the script in the background.  As always there is some fussy cutting but this would not be done as easily without the fantastic Stampin' Up! paper snips.

This is page two of a double page spread, sometimes one page is just not enough.  The first page can be found on a previous post that was for a different blog hop.

Huge thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created and if you would like to be kept up to date with my posts please do not hesitate to follow me.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Ink & Share Scrap blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Heike is working on.

It's Fancy Folds Time

Hello and thank you for popping in,

This card was made for a special friends birthday, lately I have got a bit comfortable making tradional style opening cards so it was nice to make this for a change.

This month was a really good friends birthday and I wanted to make a her a special card for the occasion.  I knew instantly that I wanted to use the Sand & Sea Suite by Stampin' Up! from the January to June mini catalogue. The colours were just perfect and I loved the sentiment 'Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend.'

This suite offers so much to make gorgeous cards, 3D projects and scrapbooking pages and I cannot wait to spend more time playing with this suite.  The colours and the patterns are so versatile, I'm in love!

For this part of the card, I heat embossed lots of seashells with gold embossing powder on Sahara Sand cardstock and added extra colour with a Sponge Dauber, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight ink pads.

With a piece of vellum I die-cut out this piece and put it through the Seaside embossing folder.  The effect was amazing.

Just want to say thank you for reading this post and I hope to see you again very soon.

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome,

It is Crafty Collaboration Blog Hop time again, these truly do come around really quick.  For this hop we were set the challenge to use a sketch design and create a project using the layout below.

I chose to create a scrpabook page using the layout, after finding the photo's of a shopping trip with my daughters and granddaughters.  This was an early trip out together for my eldest daughters birthday.

As alwyas I love a good fussy cutting session, I got a bit carried away and ended up cutting out a whole sheets of 12"x 12" True Love designer series paper

The ribbon on the tag was coloured using the dark colour of Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy Blend pens.

For the background I used Sahara Sand ink pad with the Blending Brushes and a Square Vellum Doilies.

I love how these colours work together, they a so subtle and yet striking enough to make the flowers pop out of the page. With the additional touch of Wink of Stella it is enough to just finish them off.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Crafty Collaborations blog hop and head on over to have a look at what everyone is working on.

Spring is in the air

Hello and welcome,

Thank you for hopping onto my blog post, you may have started here or be visiting from another demonstrators blog post.  Here you will get to visit Demostrators from around the globe.

Recently I was asked by a very good friend to made an 80th Birthday card for her mother-in-law.  I was allowed to do whatever I wanted but she wanted pastel flowers.  As Spring is finally on its way i couldn't resist using tulips as the theme.

I wanted to give a two tone effect for the tulips so I used sponge daubers with Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron ink pads.  I stamped a fussy cut lots of stems and leaves using Old Olive ink pad on white card.

The leaves were curled using a bone folder and mounted onto the Brick and Mortar embossed base using mini dimensional foam pads.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Crafty Collaboration blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Rebecca-Jo is working on.

Eyes down it's bingo time

Hello and welcome,

I was really excited when I saw the theme for this months Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop as I ma truly addicted to the splatter effect and using Stampin' Up! Playful Alphabet dies.

One day I was on Nana duties and whilst waiting for my eldest granddaughter to come out of school, Isla started playing with a neck pillow. It just melted my heart and was just so cute.

As you can see I used the splatter technique (hitting a blend pen on a pair of closed scissors) for the background and stamped random hearts all over using the Banner Years stamp set and added resin hearts embellishments that I have coloured using old olive and real red blend pens.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Scrapbooking Global blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Janice is working on.

Why I Joined Stampin' Up! and is it something you would be interested in?

Hello

Back in November 2011 I joined Stampin' Up! as I had relocated over one hundred miles away from my home town and I knew nobody in my new location plus had a lot of spare time to get crafting.

When I first joined it was because I have fallen in love with the products, I was on a budget back then so I built up my collection over the first few years, but the one thing I loved was how every thing matched and how it worked together, allowing me to create whatever I liked and giving me really good results.

As a scrapbooker there was plenty of products the Stampin' Up! sold to allow me to carry on scrapping, although over the years the products aimed at scrapbookers has reduced I love showing how easy it is to use nearly everything that is offered in the current catalogues when creating my pages.  I now crafter anything papercraft related!

Fast forward to now, my love of Stampin' Up! is still going well and through my craft shop (The Crafty Corner Shop) it has allowed me to share my love with lots of customers and even build a team of both hobby and business demonstrators called The Inkspirational Stampers.  The flexibility that Stampin' Up! offers has allowed me to step up or step back as needed.  They allow you to do as little or as much as you choose.

Should you choose to join before the end of February 2021 you will receive FIVE free packets of 6" x 6" designer series paper (DSP) from the upcoming new Annual Catalogue, That is 200 sheets of DSP worth £53.75.

Benefits of being a Demonstrator:
* from day one you will earn 20% discount on every order that you place
* this increases to 25% discount and other bonuses
* get to preview and order from the new catalogues a month early
* to be part of the Stampin' Up! community if you choose to
* no commitment to placing an order once you have joined

It is all very simple really!  Hardest bit is choosing your £130 worth of products.

So I'm currently working on this...

Hello and welcome,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this blog post as you hop through the Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop and see what we are all working on.

On Facebook I am part of the TV Book Club and every few months we arrange a Book Swap.  For this swap I have sent two books (The Last Charm and The Familiars) and these few extra bits - Tealight Candles, bookmark, fruit tea bags and a bar of Dairy Milk chocolate.

This card and tealight holder were created using the True Love Designer Series Paper and the flowers were randomly coloured using the Sponge Daubers and Daffodil Delight Ink pad.

For each daisy I stamped two of each size using the Daisy Lane stamp set and Daffodil Delight ink pad.  Then I punched these out with the Daisy punches.

I stamped the stems using Old Olive ink pad the fussy cut them out using the lovely Stampin' Up! Paper Snips.

The bookmark was created by stencilling the background using the square vellum doilies, blending brushes and pumpkin pie ink pad,  Playful Alphabet dies letters and flowers cut out from the True Love Designer Series Paper and coloured with a blending brush and pumpkin pie ink pad.

This double tea bag holder was created out of a 6" x 6" piece of designer series paper and deorated with the Oval Occasions stamp set.

Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read this post and enjoy your blog hop journey through other Demonstrators blog posts.  Now it is time to hop on over to Jo's post and see what lovely project she has created.
