Just a little thank you

Welcome to my latest blog post,

For Valentine's Day I took part in a Book Swap where you are randomly allocate a person to send a book to for a certain theme. I have previously posted on the 13th February what I sent to my recipient. However I was overwhelmed with the goodies that I received from my Secret Elf that it warranted me sending them a Thank You card and a few goodies.

Here is the card I created:

I truly enjoyed using the Lots of Heart stamp set and dies by Stampin' Up! I can guarantee you that these will be used to make more of these cards and scrapbooking pages. When you look at the close up you can see the detail involved when I made it.

By using the Scripty 3D embossing folder it truly gave a lovely background. To give a more classic look I used the Crumb Cake ink pad and the Blending Brush around the edge and to colour the bird.

I coloured the white Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon by using the Light Crumb Cake Blends Pen an attached it behind the hearts layers.

The several layers of die-cut hearts lifted the stamped heart image. Plus the die-cut banners. Finally the heat embossed gretting added the finishing touch.

This card was created as part of the monthly International Projects Highlights where people get to vote for their five favourite cards and the Top Ten get invited to a special Blog Hop hosted by the lovely Kylie Bertucci (#1 Australian Demonstrator). Last month I came twelth with my Thank You card.

You can see all of the cards that have entered by clicking on the button below and then you can choose whicd five you want to vote for.

I just want to say thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created. View all the cards here.

Tis' the season

Hello and welcome to my latest blog post,

Thank you for joining me from Kim's post, as you join the Stampin' for Christmas Blog Hop where you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world to see various projects that have been created for Christmas.

I chose to use a stamp set that was not designed for Christmas, I have been in love with the Floral Essence stamp set that is in the current Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

I love using my favourite embosing folder called Scripty 3D as it gives extra definition and although the script is not Christmas words it still look good.

When the card is open the flower and greeting will remain on the inside but can be seen through the hole.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to read this post and I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created. It is now time for you to carry on with your Stampin' for Christmas blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Vickie is working on.
