Day 17 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the seventeenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... a Joy of Christmas card for thee!

Over the past week, I have been working on projects for the rest of the month's 'Hello December meets Blogmas'  posts.  I have also started working on my actual 'Hello December' album which is making great progress and I cannot wait to share this with you in the New Year.

For today's card I, could not resist showing you my favourite sheet of Designer Series Paper (DSP), for which I wanted to use a festive frame from the Christmas Classic dies.
When I decided to do 'Hello December meets Blogmas' I found it really easy to choose which stamp and dies I wanted to use do to how many options that there would be with the Christmas Classics stamps and die set .  I had also fallen in love with the lovely DSP pack and just knew the Black & White ribbon would team up with it too.

Day 17 card - I had a lightbulb moment whilst cutting numbers out, I could show the lovely DSP to create a silhouette of the number as well as a die-cut number.

I have listed the items that I used to create the Christmas card:

For tomorrow's project I will  be bringing you another six-inch card from the  Joy of Christmas suite that was a recent class project.

Day 16 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the sixteenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... sweet decorations for the tree!

So we are officially just over half way through the month of 'Hello December meets Blogmas' posts.  Today I have chosen to create 3D projects for the tree which were really quick and easy and contain a delicious Elizabeth Shaw Mint Crisp chocolate inside.

I cut strips of O Holy Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) folded them in half and put them in the punch, added a chocolate inside with a couple of glue dots and then closed the decoration with the Simply Elegant Trim.

I created several snowflakes using either ink or gold or silver embossing powder, fussy cut them out and added to the front of the decoration, along with a greeting.

Day 16 card - the lovely dsp was too nice to hide so I just added a couple of bunches of holly using the Loose Holly & Gems Sequins to show it off.
Here, I have listed the items that I used to create these tree decorations:

Thank you for stopping by, I truly do appreciate it. Tomorrow I will be showing you another project using the Joy of Christmas suite.

Day 15 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the fifteenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... a notebook for planning festivities!

I LOVE STATIONERY! Not just any old stationery, I love creating Travellers Notebooks that help me plan events and trips.  I created it using a piece of Merry, Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper and ten sheets of A4 white paper (90gsm).

This notebook has now been used to plan all of my December lists and in theory make me organised and ease me through the season.
Inside the notebook I added a sheet of Vellum which I had stamped all over using the Christmas Classics stamp set and silver embossing powder and created pockets in the front and back with off-cuts of the matching DSP.

Day 15 card - I wanted to make a shaker card and fill it with the loose Holly and Gems sequins. This was one of my favourites to make.
I have listed the items below that I used to create the Travellers Notebook:

Day 14 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the forteenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... decorated chocolate just for me (not Terry)!

I cannot believe we are almost halfway through the month of December, this is the most festive I have felt in a long time, from Eggnog at Starbucks, to Christmas movies and loads of craftivities.  I loved making today's project - Terry's Chocolate Orange cracker box.

This was made using just one sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock, a couple of strips of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and a little bit of embellishments from the Christmas Classics stamps and dies set.

Day 14 - A piece of DSP from the Joy of Christmas DSP, a few die-cuts to add detail and a few dots of Metallic Basic Pearls and just like that, I had my card for the day.

Below I have listed the items that I used to create these projects:

As always, I am truly pleased that you are vising my blog to read these Blogmas posts and I hope you will return to see the rest of the month.

Day 13 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the thirteenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... six-inch card of Christmas merry!

Today, I am showing you card from my recent stamp-a-stack class where we made two different six-inch cards.
When I created this card I wanted to make a frame effect so the inside could be decorated and the festive decor on the front.  I love six-inch cards as they allow for more decoration.
Day 13 card -  I allowed the DSP to be the main focus with the added detail of the Exposed Brick embossed card to house the number.

This is the list of the items that I used to create these projects:

Suite Showcase #23 - O Holy Night

Hello and I apologise for a late post,

This year truly is flying by and I cannot believe just how close to Christmas we really are, I am excited for the festive period and spending it with loved ones.

I had the delight of having my youngest of four Granddaughters over to stay on her own for the first time, P (aka Peach or Penelope) was just as excited as Nana for her visit and it truly was a wonderful time.

Here are the two scrapbook pages that I created for this Suite showcase using 'O Holy Night' suite from Stampin' Up!  I wanted to capture as many photo's as I could for the pages, so I chose to use my Instax printer which printed the images directly from my phone.

For both of these pages I wanted my layout to be a double page spread as it allowed me to use more photo's whilst showing of these gorgeous sheets of O Holy Night Designer Series Papers.

I loved creating these pages and I couldn't resist adding decorations using the Christmas Classics stamp set and dies in co-ordinating colours.

For these pages I used the following items:

Don't forget to pop over to Joanna's (Purrfectly Creative) and see her creations using this suite.

And just like that we have come to an end of the Festive crafting with the Suite Showcase.  Our next Suite Showcase will be on 21st December at 1.30pm and we will be using the Let's Go Fishing suite.

Happy Crafting!

Day 12 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... more craftivities!

I am posting yesterday's post rather late but as the saying goes "better late than never" so here it is... another Beary Christmas card.

This card was fun, I loved fussy cutting the Memories and More cards and the DSP to creae this card.  I wanted to create a present on the card so I added glimmer paper to give the effect of ribbon.
Day 12 - I could not resist creating swags on the lovely DSP and with the Loose Holly & Gems embellishments it was the perfect finish.
I hope you are enjoying what I have made so far, below I have listed the items that I used to create the Beary Christmas project:

Day 10 & 11 of Hello December meets Blogmas

On the tenth & eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... an oops as I never got to post these!

Oh dear, my fake covid/flu jab cold turned into an actual cold and make me even more behind.  Sadly there are no projects for these two days but I shall return on the 12th with that days projects.

These are the two cards that I created for the days:

I truly enjoyed making this card, it was a lightbulb moment as I was creating a different card.  I die-cut out the shapes then applied it to the backing card and stamped onto the image.
On the 11th day, I used the DSP from the Joy of Christmas and added an off-cut of the frame from the Christmas Classics die set with some ribbon.  I have introduced the use of the metallic Pearls for an added effect.
I have listed the products used in both of these cards:

If you would like more information about classes, workshops and Stampin’ Up! products, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Why not follow my blog to be kept up-to-date with my posts?

Thank you for stopping by, I truly do appreciate it. Tomorrow I will be back on track and will be showing you some more projects that I have created using various Stampin' Up! products.
