Tis' the Season to be scrapbooking

Seasons Greetings everyone

Thank you for joining me on the Ink & Scrap Blog Hop as you hop around looking at what other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators scrapbook pages.  I am currently away on my Scrapbooking Retreat and whilst crafting I created the page for this month's blog hop using the image below for inspiration.  I truly enjoyed doing this, so thank you Jo.

I Just love crafting for the festive season and mix that with my love of scrapbooking and it truly is 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!'

For this page I chose to use the Stampin' Up! Merriest Moments bundle after I fell in love with it at my recent Stamp-a-Stack class, there are endless options of creativity that can happen.

By using a mixture of stamping with Real Read, Evening Evergreen and Garden Green ink pads and  Gold Embossing powder it added definition and made the foliage pop up.  As you will see in the photo my crafting was fueled by Baileys and Quailty Street chocolates.

As an extra, I added the definition of Christmas as this truly does finish of the page and mean so much to me as time is very precious.

So currently I'm working on this...

Hello and welcome,

You will be joining me directly or as part of the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop, you will be looking at what Demonstrators from around the world have been currently working on using Stampin' Up! products.

At the moment I have been using Stampin' Up! Tidings of Christmas stamp and dies set to make lots of lovely festive pieces to use on Christmas card that I plan to send out to family and friends.

I offer my customers the option to buy monthly themed Cardmaking and Scrapbooking kits and this is some of the elements in the card kit that I offer.

 

Tidings of Christmas.

These are some of the elements included in this kit.

I chose to stamp and die-cut out lots of bits from the bundle so they are ready for when it comes to making the cards.

It gives me great pleasure in having loads of bits prepared ready so when I sit down to make cards etc then I know that its just a matter of picking these up and getting my craft on with them.  

Whilst I was away in Somerset I made this card to show my non-crafting friend...

I also used the Evergreen Border punch, the Wintery 3D embossing folder, Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and Gold Mini Shimmer Ribbon.

Stampin' for Christmas Blog Hop

 

Hello and welcome to my first blog post for a few months.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, so happy to be back after a few of lifes hiccups.

You maybe joining me directly or after visiting Kim's blog for the Stampin' for Christmas blog hop where you will be visiting other independent Demonstrators to see what lovely projects that have been created for the theme of Christmas.

For this hop, I chose show how easy it is to make cards using the products in the Gingerbread and Peppermint Suite.  It was so nice playing with these and it's fair to say I got a bit carried away,  I only planned to make three, but three became five. I just love fussy cutting!

Each card involved me fussy cutting sheets from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper and then mounting them onto the Memories and More cards or the Memories and More cards & emvelopes using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

It's been a while

Hello,

It has been forever since I last did a blog post, once my craft shop 'The Crafty Corner Shop' reopened I found that this took over, in addition to this my daughter Éloise has a life-limiting illness called Juvenile Huntington's Disease and this year has proved very challenging with this illness as it progresses.

Anyway, crafting is my happy time and now I have managed to refocus, I AM BACK!  Back doing what I love and in my happy place.  This is what I love about being part of Stampin' Up! as it allows me to craft with lovely products, offers a great discount whilst working around my time with Él and my family.

We have just returned from a week away in Cheddar, Somerset and it was lovely, just to go out and about in the daytime and relax crafting in the evening.  Before I went away, I had die-cut loads of poppies using Stampin' Up!'s Poppy Moments dies set and then in the evening I sat assembling them whilst chatting away to my friend. 

My Mum's birthday was in November and every year it would always fall around Rememberance Sunday, sadly she passed away five years ago and would have been 86 next week.

I will be using the assembled poppies to create a scrapbook page or two, lol.
