Suite Showcase #14 - Stargazing

Welcome to another Suite Showcase,

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this post, and hope to see you again for more posts in the future.  We post our Suite Showcase projects on the 7th and 21st of each month and we always use products out of the current catalogue(s).

So, for this Suite Showcase we will be using the Stargazing suite, when we decided on this suite back in November 2023 I thought “it’s ok, its ages away, the mojo will truly kick up some amazing ideas!” Well, I was so wrong.

I truly had no idea what to do for this post as I only bought the DSP from the suite so I decided to create a scrapbook page with the intention of using the remaining Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create cards etc.

For this scrapbook page I knew I had to use my recent cat photos with my daughter Éloise, we had Hagrid come to visit so that meant Él would have them constantly walking all over her bed.

Once I had selected the photos, I then chose which DSP I was going to use and this proved hard as some were very space themed but thankfully, they had great reverse sides.  After layering the photos onto Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and attaching to the DSP with mini dimensionals, I then set to fussy cutting out the planets from two different DSPs to use them as circles, in case you didn’t know - I just love fussy cutting!

When I am taking photos, I realised that as I am looking through the lens the chances are I have already started deciding upon the title for the scrapbook page, friends said I was the crazy cat lady but I think the photos tell another story.

After using the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper and the Alphabet Á La Mode dies to create the page title with Stampin' Up!s adhesive sheets applied before the die-cutting as this allows them to be stuck to the page with ease.

To finish off the page I just added the Tinsel Gems four-pack embellishments.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

Suite Showcase #13 - Masterfully Made

Welcome to the first Suite Showcase of July,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog to see what Joanna (Purrfectly Creative) and I have created using the Gorgeously Made suite from Stampin' Up!

This suite was really nice to work with and there are twelve colours in the Designer Series Paper (DSP) to use, I chose to use these colours as they really worked with the cards I had planned.

This suite ws also used for my clases Stamp-a-Stack at the end of June and we all loved playing with it, and I chose to make the samples below for the Ladies to craft with using their kits.

For the first card I was so excited to use the notebook die to create a topper for this card, I didn't want to cover the DSP too much as it is really pretty.  I truly do love and type sort of font as it just adds that little ectra something to a card.

On the second card, I wanted to show both sides of the same piece of DSP and this was achieved using the torn effect die and flipping one piece over, by adding some vellum cardstock that were die-cut using both of the leaves dies, I brushed the back of them in ink using a blending brish then on the front I used the same ink and the typed words stamp.  I gave a very subtle effect.
With the third card it didn't need much, so I cut the DSP and just added some ribbon and the greeting.  The DSP made a great background, in fact it was more than just a background, it was the main focus of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this looking at what I have created with Stampin' Up!s Masterfully Made suite.  Don't forget to pop over and see what Joanna has made using the same suite.

Here are the products that I used in this Suite Showcase:
