Suite Showcase #4 - Regency Park

Hello and welcome,

It’s time again for the second Suite Showcase of the month where Joanna of  (Purrfectly Creative) and I will be showing you what we have created using Stampin’ Up!’s Regency Park Suite.

I was looking forward to playing with this suite as I loved the samples in the mini catalogue although I was hesitant about the colours as I am not a fan of Shaded Spruce, but when I started playing with the suite I slowly came to accept the colour.

For my first card I recreated a card I had previously made in my Stamp-a-Stack class at the beginning of the month, but I wanted to use the sheet of Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the pack as I had fallen in love with the colour combo of Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet.

No surprise that I used the Tailor Made Tags dies and Timeworn Type Embossing folder and several sizes of flowers that just needed a Wink of Stella for the finishing touch.

The second card I made was loosely based on a card sample (mini catalogue p.30).

I loved how they stamped the background and layered it onto a piece of DSP to add extra colour to the card.

I needed a card to send to a friend so I just added ‘HELLO’ using the Alphabet a la Mode Dies layered on the ribbon and a bit of pretty gems to finish it off.

Card number three had to be a six-inch square card.  Wouldn’t be a Suite Showcase without me making one of these.

For this card I needed to make it a bit different and I knew the flower stamps would make a great wreath.  So after stamping, colouring and die-cutting I arranged a circle on attached them to each other using Mini Dimensionals to hold it together and be hidden from the back.

Then I stamped a wreath onto the insert using just half a stamp and going round in a rough circle.

Once I had attached the window sheet to the base lay the wreath onto the window sheet and lined it up before attaching with glue dots.  To finish it off I added the greeting, Linen thread bow and milky dots.

Voila, three cards all completed using this lovely Regency Park Suite and hope to create some more projects using it.

Hope you have enjoyed reading this post and don’t forget to pop over to Joanna’s post for more Suite Showcase projects.  Don’t forget the next Suite Showcase will be live at 1.30pm on 7th March where we will be using the gorgeous Fancy Flora Suite by Stampin’ Up!

Suite Showcase #3 - Country Floral Lane

Happy February to you all!

Thank you for coming back to look at what we have been creating for the first Suite Showcase of the month.  When I saw the Country Floral Lane suite I just couldn’t wait to start playing with the lovely products.

I love making six-inch square cards, as you can see I just had to make one using these products. On this card I wanted to give it some life and definition.

By screwing up the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Basics Vellum (emboss the vellum first and be very gentle screwing it up) then to finish it off I tore all the edges before adhering to the card base.

I chose a greeting that would be great for ending to a Bestie on Valentine’s day, I also make cards for both of my daughters and my four Granddaughters.

One the second card I wanted to use the vellum but in a different way, I wanted to show off its true beauty and it would have been wasted if it was covered up.

By using the window sheet, it shows off the vellum and allows the card to stand up unsupported.  The flap holds all of the decorations.

I just loved using the DSP for the word ‘LOVE’ and the mixture of gold embossing powder and Rich Razzleberry ink.

Now I am big fan of fussy cutting, it’s a bit like  Marmite, you either love or hate it but I just love the detail it gives and by fussy cutting the foliage it helped blend the two pieces of (DSP).

I am a mega fan of the Tailor-Made Tags and use them on lots of projects as I love using my ribbon stash.

As you will see from the projects that I have made, that I forgot to order the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Papers so I chose to substitute them with the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Papers that you can receive for FREE during Sale-a-Bration.

During Sale-a-Bration (ends 28.2.23) when you place an order you can choose a free product for every £45 that you spend from a wide selection of products.  Here is the link to my online Stampin’ Up! store.

Well I hope you have enjoyed looking at the cards I have made for this Suite Showcase and if you pop over to see what Joanna (Purrfectly Creative) has created using the suite.
