Suite Showcase #3 - Country Floral Lane

Happy February to you all!

Thank you for coming back to look at what we have been creating for the first Suite Showcase of the month.  When I saw the Country Floral Lane suite I just couldn’t wait to start playing with the lovely products.

I love making six-inch square cards, as you can see I just had to make one using these products. On this card I wanted to give it some life and definition.

By screwing up the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Basics Vellum (emboss the vellum first and be very gentle screwing it up) then to finish it off I tore all the edges before adhering to the card base.

I chose a greeting that would be great for ending to a Bestie on Valentine’s day, I also make cards for both of my daughters and my four Granddaughters.

One the second card I wanted to use the vellum but in a different way, I wanted to show off its true beauty and it would have been wasted if it was covered up.

By using the window sheet, it shows off the vellum and allows the card to stand up unsupported.  The flap holds all of the decorations.

I just loved using the DSP for the word ‘LOVE’ and the mixture of gold embossing powder and Rich Razzleberry ink.

Now I am big fan of fussy cutting, it’s a bit like  Marmite, you either love or hate it but I just love the detail it gives and by fussy cutting the foliage it helped blend the two pieces of (DSP).

I am a mega fan of the Tailor-Made Tags and use them on lots of projects as I love using my ribbon stash.

As you will see from the projects that I have made, that I forgot to order the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Papers so I chose to substitute them with the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Papers that you can receive for FREE during Sale-a-Bration.

During Sale-a-Bration (ends 28.2.23) when you place an order you can choose a free product for every £45 that you spend from a wide selection of products.  Here is the link to my online Stampin’ Up! store.

Well I hope you have enjoyed looking at the cards I have made for this Suite Showcase and if you pop over to see what Joanna (Purrfectly Creative) has created using the suite.

So currently I'm working on this...

Hello and welcome,

You will be joining me directly or as part of the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop, you will be looking at what Demonstrators from around the world have been currently working on using Stampin' Up! products.

At the moment I have been using Stampin' Up! Tidings of Christmas stamp and dies set to make lots of lovely festive pieces to use on Christmas card that I plan to send out to family and friends.

I offer my customers the option to buy monthly themed Cardmaking and Scrapbooking kits and this is some of the elements in the card kit that I offer.

Tidings of Christmas.

These are some of the elements included in this kit.

I chose to stamp and die-cut out lots of bits from the bundle so they are ready for when it comes to making the cards.

It gives me great pleasure in having loads of bits prepared ready so when I sit down to make cards etc then I know that its just a matter of picking these up and getting my craft on with them.

Whilst I was away in Somerset I made this card to show my non-crafting friend...

I also used the Evergreen Border punch, the Wintery 3D embossing folder, Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and Gold Mini Shimmer Ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I am up to, please pop by again to look at the finished cards I have made using the Tidings of Christmas suite.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Polly is working on.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:

Stampin' for Christmas Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my first blog post for a few months.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today, so happy to be back after a few of lifes hiccups.

You maybe joining me directly or after visiting Kim's blog for the Stampin' for Christmas blog hop where you will be visiting other independent Demonstrators to see what lovely projects that have been created for the theme of Christmas.

For this hop, I chose show how easy it is to make cards using the products in the Gingerbread and Peppermint Suite.  It was so nice playing with these and it's fair to say I got a bit carried away,  I only planned to make three, but three became five. I just love fussy cutting!

Each card involved me fussy cutting sheets from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper and then mounting them onto the Memories and More cards or the Memories and More cards & emvelopes using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Stampin' for Christmas blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Carol is working on.

Anyone for Ice Cream - Ink & Share Blog hop

Well hello there,

I am so pleased that you have stopped by to visit my latest blog post.  You may have started here or came to me through another page. This months theme is to use 'A Punch.'

Before I start a scrpabook layout I will always doodle on a pieece of paper how I think I want the page to look, for the first time I think I followed it completely, although the added texture to the ice cream was an after thought.

I had forgotten how much I liked using Stampin' Up!'s Shimmery Embossing Paste and this just worked perfectly on the the top of the ice cream.

For ages I have wanted to use Stampin' Up!'s Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch but never got round to it until this week.  I was also very brave when it came to cutting up the photographs and this was done by using another of their punches called Tailored Tag, I loved the effect it had.

The background of this page was created using the Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue ink pad and then the sprinkles stamp and Smoky Slate ink pad added extra colour and definition.  As always i used the Foam Adhesive Sheets and Playful Alphabet dies for creating the title.

So now I just want to thank you for taking the time to read this post, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.

My remake of something in the new Annual Catalogue

Hello and I hope you are well,

Just want to say thank you for visiting my blog as part of the Ink.Stamp.Share Monthly Blog Hop and I hope you enjoy seeing what a selection of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators have created as we share with you our projects that we have created for this months theme 'Case the Catty!'  We have all CASE'D from the current Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

I knew instantly what i was going to CASE as I had absolutely fell in love with this card when I saw it in the catalogue it was what had make me buy the Flowers of Friendship bundle from pages 78 and 148.

Under the Designer Series Paper there is a piece of the new In Colour Shimmer Vellum which I actually went 'Wow' when I saw how it looked after it had been embossed.  As you can see I have shown you both sides of the embossed vellum so you can see how different it can look.

I am now going to carry n casing the catalogue as it has really inspired me into casing other projects from the new Annual Catalogue.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop and head on over to have a look at what Nicole working on.

Time to get my craft on with Tic Tac Toe

Hello there,

Thank you for joining me as part of the Casually Crafting Design Team where you will be visiting Demonstrators from around the world as we show you what we have created for this month's 'Tic, Tac, Toe!' design challenge.

As this month was a 'Tic Tac Toe' challenge, I chose to do the first column which was 'use a punch,' 'floral' and 'Granny Apple Green.'

I chose to use the Symmetry Stems Border punch along with the In Symmetry stamp set for this card along with the co-ordinating Designer Series Paper.

Here is my completed card, I truly enjoyed doing this challenge.  It took some thinking though as I was unsure which line to go for.

A close up of the card so you can see the layers that I applied after fussy cutting (you either love or hate it) and by adding Stampin' Up! mini dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I have created.  It is now time for you to carry on with your Casually Crafting Design Team blog hop and head on over to have a look at what everyone is creating using this months challenge.

Time to Grab Five and get my scrap on!

Welcome to my long overdue post,

Hello and thank you for taking the time to stop by my longe overdue blog post, on a previous post I explained that the reason for my lack of posting was due to me reopening my craft shop called The Crafty Corner Shop after being closed for over one year due to UK Lockdown.

It has been a great feeling to finally relocate my crafting mojo after over two months of only essential crafting, so you can imagine how excited I am to get scrapbooking for this blog post.  Here is what I created...

As you can see I have managed to tick all five of the 'Grab 5' requirements (although in the big picture I managed to lose a Metallic Pearl but it is in the pic below.

The title 'Round and Round the Garden' was created using Stampin' Up! Playful Alphabet dies.

Please see below the supply list of the products used in these projects:
