Paper Pumpkin UK Style

Welcome and thank you for stopping by to visit my Paper Pumpkin UK style blog hop, here I am again hopping with other independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators worldwide on the Paper Pumpkin themed Crafty Blog Hop.

In the UK we are not yet fortunate enough to have a monthly Paper Pumpkin subscription, however we do to get one-off specials, currently we have Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine (for more info please click here).

The theme of this blog hop is World’s Greatest Paper Pumpkin kit, and as we did not receive this box in the UK it was time to literally think 'outside the box! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist that!)

My father will be ninety years old next month and I thought he would be the perfect person for me to create for as to me he is the World’s Greatest! He did everything possible to ensure that I never wanted for anything and has been a fantastic Grandad and Great Grandad!

I knew instantly I wanted to make my Dad’s birthday card, but then all creativity and inspiration disappeared as soon as I realised I was making a MALE card, so I just had a to make it up as I went along. Why do I find make cards so hard?

The bonus of using the Paper Pumpkin kit for inspiration was that the colours were all there for me.

In addition to making this card I wanted to make two other projects so I decided on a rosette badge and a bottle tag.

For once I am organised in having the tag crafted before I have bought the bottle of brandy, so I had to use my bottle of bubbly. I truly enjoyed making the rosette badge and it was completed in less than twenty minutes.

Hello you gorgeous Box of Sunshine! Another lovely Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up!

You truly do not know HOW EXCITED I AM!!!

Today Stampin’ Up! have released another Paper Pumpkin Kit and I cannot wait to get my hands on a box or two so I can get my craft on!

Stampin Up! Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine

The previous Paper Pumpkin Kit was such a hit with my customers but that feels like forever ago as the months have just flown by! I have been waiting impatiently for this new kit and it was definitely worth it.

Sara Douglass (CEO of Stampin' Up!) designed this kit and called it the Box of Sunshine as it was created to enable you the crafter to create a box full of cheer for you to send to those you love, friends or someone special to brighten their day with a little sunshine.

You will be able to make eight cards complete with envelopes (including leftover elements) in a yellow box full of goodies to brighten someone’s day and includes a stamp set and Stampin’ Spot ink pad, you just need a clear block to mount your stamp onto and you are ready to go.

Included in your kit is:

· Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Spot

· Card bases with gold foil trim

· Printed envelopes with gold foil
